Brazil has banned sales of iPhones without chargers, according to the Associated Press.

The Brazilian government said that it is concerned about the lack of chargers available in the country, which could lead to more than 100 million phones being thrown away each year.

"It's not just an environmental issue," said Marcos Valério, a senior official at the national environment agency. "It's also a health issue."

Valério said that people who rely on their phones for work or school should consider investing in a charger or carrying one in their bag so that they can connect with colleagues or classmates.
